éclairs for breakfast: rustic dinner party

Erin of Dandelion and Grey created this fabulous rustic dinner party as part of her 'At My Table' series. Erin was inspired by local farmer's markets and fresh ingredients when styling this delicious dinner.

Erin set the scene of the dinner party in her own dinning room. She set her french provincial white table with antique cutlery, pretty napkins, wooden placemats and beautiful ceramic dinner plates. As a homely and clever alternative to flowers, Erin used fresh potted herbs to decorate the table. The dinner table was set under a gallery wall of painted vintage empty frames.

Her home cooked menu began with a spinach ravioli with sage butter sauce, using fresh sage and rosemary from her own garden. The creamy ravioli was paired with a loaf of fresh bread and rosemary butter sitting on top a wooden cutting board.

For dessert Erin baked yummy lavender vanilla cupcakes with a sprig of lavender for decoration and a super sweet 'enjoy flag'. On top a white chest of drawers she also created a small tea bar to accompany dessert.

Such a thoughtful idea for guest favours... a collection of inspiring cookbooks for guests to take with them sat on white farmers chairs and under a handmade garland of botanical cards.

detail love: a whimsical workshop

How stunning is this summertime wedding inspiration workshop by photographer Jessica Claire and Carter and Cook Event Company

Heather and Ashlyn styled a really lovely summer inspired wedding with so many gorgeous summer touches... summer fruits, feminine and pretty florals, vintage furniture and props, rustic wedding table settings and whimsical hanging chandelier.

The girls of Carter and Cook say they were 'inspired by camping, all things summer, gingham, popsicles, fireflies, fun colours, rope and various textures'.

The outdoor table setting is very romantic. The pretty peach, tangerine and navy colour palette work beautifully with vintage floral prints and natural textures. The paper goods are simple and sweet and compliment the yummy and edible rockmelon place settings!

What a stunning way to display the three wedding cakes?... a gorgeous pink tulle curtain backdrop, a rustic table and beautiful ceramic cakeplates. The soft pink butter icing and toasted marshmallow icing just looks delicious.

I just adore the bride's sweet little floral cardigan. A perfect accessory to a summertime and camping themed wedding!
